A minimum 2:1 degree (or international equivalent) in your subject area, plus at least one year of tutoring or teaching experience. Qualified teachers (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) are also welcome.

You set your own hourly rate. Most tutors on our platform earn £35–80/hr (or local equivalent), depending on subject, level, and location. GCSE subjects typically command £35–50/hr; A-Level and specialist subjects £50–80/hr.
Yes, for UK-based tutors offering in-person lessons an Enhanced DBS check is mandatory. We help you arrange this if you do not already have one. Online-only tutors outside the UK undergo equivalent background checks.
Absolutely. All sessions on our platform are supported online via video call. Many tutors teach exclusively online, which lets you work from anywhere and accept students across the country (or internationally).
